The secret of our rising is a testimony to our African brothers and sisters, a testimony to the world!
Today, we are happily welcoming more than 25,000 participants who have come to Addis Ababa for the 2nd African Climate Summit .
The summit is being held in Addis Ababa from 8 to 10 September 2025 under the theme ‘Advancing Global Climate Solutions, Financing Africa’s Green Development’. In line with the theme of the summit, we have explained to our African brothers and sisters through our participation in the exhibition that Ethiopia is working hard on the activities that will be the climate solution.
Addis Ababa has demonstrated its exemplary role showcasing the true benefits of growing together and doing work that will inspire future generations.
Dear guests of our city, Addis Ababa is your comfortable home. Addis Ababa is the gateway to prosperity. Your coming and our joint consultation is the foundation for the future of the African continent.
I would like to call on residents of our city to continue providing your usual amicable hospitality and great contributions until the conference is over and our guests return to their respective countries.

تستضيف أديس أبابا اليوم القمة الإفريقية الثانية للتغير المناخي بحضور أكثر من 25,000 مشارك .
حيث تُعقد القمة في العاصمة أديس أبابا في الفترة من 8 إلى 10 سبتمبر 2025 تحت شعار "تعزيز حلول التغير المناخي العالمي، وتمويل التنمية الخضراء في أفريقيا".
وتماشيًا مع شعار القمة، أوضحنا لإخواننا وأخواتنا الأفارقة من خلال مشاركتنا في المعرض أن إثيوبيا تعمل بجد على الأنشطة التي ستمثل حلاً للتغير المناخي.
تحت شعارنا النموّ يداً بيد، قامت أديس أبابا بتجارب عملية قيّمة لخلق أعمالٍ من شأنها إنقاذ الأجيال القادمة من تأثيرات التغير المناخي .
ضيوف مدينتنا الأعزاء، أديس أبابا هي موطنكم المريح.
أديس أبابا هي بوابة الازدهار الأم للجميع .
بحضوركم، تُشكّل مداولاتنا المشتركة أساساً لمستقبل القارة الأفريقية.
أرجو من سكان مدينتنا مواصلة تعزيز المساهمة ، بالتعاون والضيافة المعهودة، حتى انتهاء المؤتمر وعودة الضيوف إلى بلدانهم الأصلية.

Aujourd'hui, nous accueillons plus de 25 000 participants venus à Addis-Abeba pour le 2e Sommet africain sur le climat.
Le sommet se tient à Addis-Abeba du 3 au 5 mai 2017 sous le thème « Faire progresser les solutions climatiques mondiales, financer le développement vert de l'Afrique ».
Conformément au thème du sommet, nous avons démontré à nos frères et sœurs africains, à travers notre participation à l'exposition, que l'Éthiopie travaille avec diligence sur les activités qui constitueront la solution climatique.
Grandissant main dans la main, Addis-Abeba est venue avec des expériences de démonstration pour créer un travail qui sauvera les générations futures.
Chers invités de notre ville, Addis-Abeba est votre foyer confortable. Addis-Abeba est la porte d'entrée vers la mère de la prospérité. Votre présence, nos délibérations communes sont le fondement de l'avenir du peuple éthiopien.
Je vous demande de continuer à renforcer la contribution que les habitants de notre ville apportent jusqu'à présent, avec la coopération et l'hospitalité habituelles, jusqu'à la fin de la conférence et le retour des invités dans leur pays d'origine.
Que le Créateur bénisse l'Éthiopie et l'Afrique.
